God forbid if I used the wrong recipe and was left cakeless! In the book, Pinkalicious blended in with the flowers at the playground so I thought it would be fun to do some macaron daisies and put them in planters which I filled with green krinkle shred “grass.” I didn’t want to mess up and have any issues with the cake so I followed Wilton’s instructions for their giant cupcake on Youtube here. The giant cupcake cake was made using Wilton’s Giant Cupcake Pan.

I followed the instructions on the Pinkalicious Cupcake Cookbook on how to get the dome shaped tops and it worked perfectly (you will need two cupcakes to make one finished cupcake). For my pinkatastic desserts, I filled a few jars with pink candy (Hershey Kisses, Sour Patch watermelons, and jelly beans) and made some pink flower macarons, Goldilicious cookies, and of course, pink cupcakes.
